The Allen House is located approximately 25 miles southeast of Boston in the charming fishing village of Scituate.
Built in 1905 by William Paley Allen, a town merchant, this shingle style colonial sits high on a hill overlooking the harbor and ocean. It was lovingly restored in 2000 by current owner/ innkeeper Meredith Emmons.
Specializing in personalized service, the house has 6 guest rooms with private baths, central air-conditioning and is within an easy and safe walking distance of the many shops and restaurants in the harbor area.
A gourmet breakfast, frequently served on the front porch overlooking the harbor, completes the restful stay.
