Historic Mendocino village is 6 miles north with fine galleries and boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. State parks and beaches offer hiking on headland or ravine trails and you can fish, surf, kayak, bicycle, hike, play tennis or golf, ride horses, tour local wineries and microbreweries, take a whale cruise out of Noyo Harbor. or just relax and read a good book, or watch sea birds and the winter/spring Gray Whale migration from your room and private deck.
Local festivals are wonderful and uncrowded, just like our coast.
