The Admiral Peary House Bed and Breakfast Inn is conveniently located in historic Fryeburg, only 15 minutes from North Conway New Hampshire and the Mount Washington Valley, on the state line between Maine and New Hampshire. Our bed and breakfast provides accommodations and lodging in an oasis of quiet and peaceful tranquility, surrounded by almost 7 beautiful acres of woods, lawns and gardens. Our Fryeburg farmhouse is the former residence of the arctic explorer, Admiral Robert E. Peary, who discovered the North Pole in 1909. Just minutes from all activities in North Conway, the Mount Washington Valley and the western mountains of Maine, our bed and breakfast inn is a convenient base from which to explore the breath-taking scenery of New Hampshire and Maine, from the White Mountains and Mount Washington in the north, down to the Lakes Region and seacoast.
Whether you're here for a night or a week, push aside the stresses of everyday life for a day or two and experience all our bed and breakfast has to offer. Savor the incredible views of Mount Washington and the White Mountains; take in a driving tour of the area's covered bridges; shop at North Conway's nearby outlet stores or discover treasures hidden in our quaint antique shops.
