The Abigail Adams Apartments are located in the historic James Leaming House which is one block from the beach and just steps from Cape May's charming pedestrian mall. This Victorian house was built in 1895 in the Queen Anne style with charming architectural features including fishscale shingles and a dramatic turret. Activities and Attractions - Cape May offers a wide variety of activities including swimming, surfing, historic house tours, great shopping and some of the best restaurants on the East Coast. Our decor is country Victorian and informal; The rooms are bright and breezy, furnished in cheery chintzes, country pine antiques, handmade quilts and lacy curtains at the windows. From most of the windows you can see views of the ocean, feel the breezes as they ruffle the curtains and hear the lapping of the waves on the sand.

Built in 1892 by Stephen Decatur Button, The Garden Apartment is located at the rear of the house overlooking the garden on the first floor and has one bedroom with a queen bed, a parlor with a double sofabed, a full galley kitchen and bath. This apartment sleeps 2-4 and is family friendly. The Second Floor Suite also overlooks the garden and has a queen bed and sofabed in the bedroom, a full kitchen and bath. This apartment also sleeps 2-4 and is family friendly. Vacation Rental Amenities - Both the Garden Apartment and the Second Floor Suite have private entrances, cable TV, DVD's, air-conditionning, wireless internet and use of the garden with picnic table and barbecue grill. Both kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee pots, dishes, cutlery and pots and pans. Linens are not provided for weekly stays but are available for shorter stays.
