Governor Ross Mansion and Plantation
A restored Italian Villa-style structure circa 1859, featuring a three-story entry tower. Once a 1400-acre plantation, it today consists of 20 acres and features eight unique outbuildings, including a log slave quarter and honeymoon cottage. Docents available for tours. Buses welcome. Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village

Nemours Mansion & Gardens
Set among spectacular French formal gardens, the Louis XVI-style chateau was built for Alfred I. DuPont and contains 102 rooms furnished with fine examples of antique furniture, rare rugs, tapestries and outstanding works of art.
Hagley Museum and Library
Hagley's stunning riverside landscape reveals a remarkable combination of experiences that illustrate a chapter of American history. The museum depicts home and work life in a 19th-century industrial community. Visitors tour the du Pont ancestral home, participate in a mid-19th-century school day, stroll through a formal French garden, and see period machines in action.
Float back in time on the Virginia C, better known as the Woodland Ferry. Three autos at a time take the free crossing over the beautiful Nanticoke River on the 300-year-old cable-run ferry, one of the last of its kind in the eastern United States.
Kalmar Nyckel, The Tall Ship of Delaware
Re-creation of the Dutch-built, Swedish-flagged ship that brought the first permanent European settlers to Delaware Valley. The ship spends July sailing out of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal and visits various other ports along the East Coast. The ship is available for public tours, sailing events, receptions and charter sails.
Cape Henlopen State Park
Cape Henlopen's beaches attract thousands of visitors who enjoy ocean swimming and sunbathing. Cape Henlopen has many year-round hiking and biking opportunities.
