The back of the house, built in 1720, served as an original farmhouse for much of the surrounding acreage. In the mid-1800's, the much larger main house, styled in the Federal tradition, was added in the front. Six of the eight original fireplaces remain in use, including three that are delightfully shared by guests in the dining room, living room, and parlor.
Guest accommodations have been supplemented with modern baths for guests' comfort. Three rooms, two with private baths, are available with twin, queen, or king beds and specially appointed amenities. A relaxing front porch which stretches along the length of the house beckons you to relax in one of its rocking chairs.
