The Mississippi Gulf Coast has been known for at least 150 years as a place to get away and enjoy the beach, boating, fishing, and now the casinos. The charming homes of planters of the 19th century still grace the coastline and one has recently been renovated as a bed and breakfast. The Inn at the Pass is located in Pass Christian, Mississippi and offers the elegance and charm of the Victorian era with the lodging amenities of today.
There are four rooms in the main house that are furnished in period antiques and feature private baths, fireplaces, and cable television. The cottage, which is located in the garden, has one large bedroom with two queen-sized beds, a private bath, and a kitchenette.
There is a parlor for visiting and reading, and a gourmet breakfast is served at 8:30 each morning.
The grounds have been planted with azaleas, magnolias, sweet olive, daylilies, roses, and palms. Weddings and parties are held in the garden.
The Inn at the Pass offers the visitor an experience and an adventure into the past with all of the necessities of the present. The Inn gracefully offers the visitor to the Coast a chance to enjoy views and cool breezes on the front porch as you sit on the wicker furniture and muse about life then and now.
