Located in the William Boyd building, originally built in 1885 as The Boyd Blacksmith Shop, the upstairs of the building where The Eagle View Inn is located was once a boarding house in early Wamego. The Inn is upstairs over the former blacksmith shop, which is now The Friendly Cooker Restaurant, where guests enjoy a down home breakfast on us.
Area: Wamego is home of the historic Old Dutch Mill, city park, and the Columbian Theatre. The Museum and Art Center are across the street. Area is known for agri-tourism, cultural arts, western frontier, and KSU sports.
